Science Behind Stem Cells - Longevity

Stem cells have a unique growth characteristic which is very much related to LONGEVITY.

The cells can produce identical copies of themselves as well as differentiate to become separating specialised cells. There are two types in our human body :

**Embryonic stem cells found in blastocycts (structures found in the human pre-embroyonic stage) can grow
and differentiate into more 220 different cells types which make up of the human body.

**Aldult stem cells located in some aldult tissues can only differentiate into their own or related cell types. they function as repairsystem for the body and also to maintain the regenerative organs such as blood, skin or
intestinal tissues.
